About Us
Swimco was formed in 1965 installing private and school pools in Somerset, Devon, Dorset and Wiltshire. We have grown to be one of the leading swimming pool companies in the UK with projects from Cornwall, in the South, to Scotland, in the North, and Wales, in the West, to Kent, in the East.
Family Business
Swimco is a family owned Company. David Penny and David Gilson, the Directors, give personal care to customers backed up by Dee Penny, Company Secretary, John Salvidge, Contracts Manager and Diane Bowhay, Quality Manager. Our office team of Val Howell, Jackie Parnell, Adele Davies, Libby Coe, Sharon Perryman and Sylvia Fricker are all available by phone to link with our team of trained and experienced fitters and site personnel.
Quality Assured
ISO Accreditation Customer care is our watchword. In 1994 we decided that we must demonstrate our commitment to our customers and undertook the path towards Quality Assurance Accreditation. We were the first British swimming pool contractor to achieve accreditation to the demanding requirements of the International Standard ISO 9002 : 1994. We were again proud to be the first British Contractor to meet the demands of the tough new Standard ISO 9001 : 2000 in February 2003. We are completely independent and select only top quality products from manufacturers at home and abroad. Specialities from outside the UK include automatic pool covers from Holland and Belgium, automatic cleaning systems from the USA and spa baths from Canada. We are the sole UK agents for the top of the range Mariner 3S commercial pool cleaners from Switzerland. Quality As part of our ISO Accreditation, we undergo an Annual Assessment. We are pleased to announce that we have, once again, passed the Annual Assessment in February 2008 - which demonstates that we, at Swimco, are achieving the standards set at all levels. |
